Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.
(1 Peter 4:10)
Just wanted to take a moment to reflect and give thanks for all the people who are serving and sacrificing for our new church home.
Thank you to everyone that…
…pulled a nail, swept a floor, ripped out carpet, scraped up glue, rewired a wall, taped sheet rock, painted a wall, inhaled dust, crawled around in the attic, scrubbed a toilet, laid a tile, moved pipes, built a wall, lifted a box, hauled garbage, answered an alarm, met with a contractor/designer/inspector, mowed a lawn, changed a door, baked cookies, delivered pizza, cleaned a cabinet, organized a cupboard, washed a window, prayed… or loved on a tired grouchy person that did the above on their own time, after their primary job, when they would have rather been doing their own thing.
Thank you for doing a God thing. He noticed it, and so did the rest of the family.
Amen!
We just wanted to let Pastor Jeff and Sharon know how much we appreciated all of the genuine love, labors of love, and provision made for our sister Shannon Boyd Warner’s “Celebration of Life” held this past Saturday November 11, 2017. The love of Christ permeated the entire service and so much love for Shannon was evident not in just words spoken, the photo video shared, but also in all of the fellowship and warm reception. So many details were attended to and noticed by us. Please let those who provided the wonderful music and all of the food, beverages, table centerpieces, the photo collage, etc. know how grateful we are to each and everyone of you. Thank you Sharon for painting all of the rocks like lady bugs and for giving me one to take home. 🙂 For those who labored behind the scenes, God saw your tasks and He alone knows your humble heart to work unnoticed. We were so blessed by all of you!!
With grateful hearts and a wish for a very Happy Thanksgiving season to you all.
In Christ’s Name,
Bob & Hope Boyd
